St. Dominic's Fair 2024 - traffic disruptions

Organization of the 764th St. Fair. Dominika in Gdańsk, one of the oldest and largest events of this type in Europe, is associated with numerous changes and difficulties in road traffic in the Old and Main Town. From July 15 to August 25, 2024, numerous changes in traffic organization and street closures in the city center are expected. We recommend carefully planning your route and using alternative means of transport.

In order to get Marina Club Hotel guests to the hotel parking lot, we recommend that you first set your navigation to ul. Angielska Grobla, and then to the address Szafarnia 10.

Old Town

Rajska street

Closed to traffic on the section from ul. Podwale Staromiejskie to ul. Heweliusza, as well as ul. Wielkie Młyny and ul. Podmłyńska.
Na Piaskach and Katarzynki streets at the intersections with ul. Rajska will be dead ends, which means it is impossible to drive through them.

Podwale Staromiejskie street

Section from ul. Lawendowa until the end towards ul. Wałowa will become one-way, allowing traffic only towards ul. Wałowa.
On the section from Targ Drzewny to ul. Lawendowa ul. Podwale Staromiejskie will be completely closed to traffic. The detours will lead through ul. Kowalska, Korzenna, Heweliusza to Rajska or further to ul. Łagiewniki and Wałowa.

Grodzka and ul. Old Shipyard street

Both of these streets will be one-way towards ul. Wałowa to the entrance to the underground garage of the Brabank building.
The right lanes of Podwale Staromiejskie and Grodzka streets will be transformed into parking spaces within the Paid Parking Zone (SPP).

Stolarska, ul. Igielnicka street

These streets will be one-way in relation to ul. Podwale Staromiejskie, while ul. Nuns will remain unchanged.


Main city

Entrance to the Main Town area

Only allowed for holders of IMG badges (up to SOD) and FGM sector parking cards. Entry is only possible from Targ Drzewny via ul. Saint Spirit.
Entrance to the street Broad from Targ Drzewny will be impossible.
Renovation of the entire section of the street. Długie Pobrzeże and Rybackie Pobrzeże will cause local difficulties in pedestrian traffic.

One-way streets

Złotników, Szklary and Lawendowa streets will be one-way towards ul. Podwale Staromiejskie.

Access for residents

Entry to the streets covered by the Fair for residents with an IGM ID (to the Limited Accessibility Zone) and FGM sector parking cards will be possible from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m., and in food zones on Fridays and Saturdays from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m.
There may be temporary extensions of the entrance closure at the Fish Market and Świętopełka Square. Residents are asked to comply with security orders.
Entrance to the Fish Market from ul. Podwale Staromiejskie will be closed. Access will be possible via ul. Świętojańska, which will be two-way.


Długie Ogrody area

Szafarnia street

Closed to vehicular traffic from the entrance to the underground parking lot of the Waterlane building to the intersection with ul. Długie Ogrody.

Długie Ogrody street

On the section from the intersection with ul. Długa Grobla to the intersection with ul. Łąkowa will be a one-way road towards ul. Łąkowa.
Street Sheds at the intersection with ul. Długie Ogrody will become a no-crossing street.

Krowoderska, Św. Barbara, Serydyński streets

These streets will be roads without passage, with no possibility of entering the street. Długie Ogrody.

Długie Ogrody from the Żuławska Gate

Traffic will be two-way from the Żuławska Gate to the entrance to the P2 parking lot (for residents).
