We highly recommend visiting the historic ship "Sołdek" moored at the marina. It is the first ship built in Poland after World War II. You can visit five levels of the ship: the engine room, the steering room, the hold and the crew's quarters. There is an exhibition of shipbuilding and the history of maritime trade. We highly recommend it to young explorers, Ahoy!
In the summer, we recommend taking a small historic ferry called "Motława" - it will take you to the other side of the river, straight to the branch of the Maritime Museum. In the Maritime Culture Center, an interactive exhibition "People-Ships-Ports" awaits children. Steering ship models in a large pool, you can travel in an underwater bathyscaphe, learn to transmit walrus and tie knots. We highly recommend it!
The European Solidarity Centre offers 400 sqm of fun and learning for the youngest. Many mobile, interactive stations connected to a large jungle gym are something you can't miss. There are: slides, balls, blocks made of pipes and lights, a machine for sending letters, geography games and many more.
