In July, another edition of Męskie Granie Tour will take place. Polsat Plus Arena will once again be filled with the music of the best Polish performers. The entire lineup is not yet known, but remembering the stars that appeared in previous editions, we can be sure that this year we will not be disappointed.
The first edition of Męskie Granie in 2010 was unique because it set the direction in which the project developed – combining different music genres and generations of artists. Some of the most important Polish musicians, representing various styles, appeared at the event, including Lech Janerka, Leszek Możdżer and Tymon Tymański.
Concerts took place in several cities in Poland, including Żywiec, Warsaw, Wrocław, Kraków, and Gdańsk. During the event, artists performed both solo and in collaborative arrangements, which was an innovative idea. Each concert had a unique character because musicians experimented freely on stage.
In the initial premise, the tour was to focus on a "masculine" perspective in music. As the project developed, the participation of women steadily increased, and their contribution became more and more significant. Already in 2012, Brodka joined Męskie Granie, and in the following years the lineup expanded with additional female voices - Natalia Przybysz, Kasia Nosowska, Daria Zawiałow, Sanah and Ania Rusowicz.
The presence of women on the Męskie Granie stage is now an inseparable element of the project. Female artists not only co-create unique arrangements but often lead the entire tour, setting the tone for all editions.
Gdańsk was already on the map of Męskie Granie during the first edition in 2010, when the project visited five Polish cities. The first concerts took place in more intimate locations but quickly gained enormous popularity among the local audience. At that time, Gdańsk drew from its proximity to the Baltic, offering a unique backdrop that added charm to the concerts. As the tour gained more recognition, concerts in Gdańsk moved to larger venues. They are now organized in areas such as Polsat Plus Arena or nearby, which can accommodate thousands of fans.
In Gdańsk, leading Polish artists who left unforgettable impressions on the audience have performed. Here are some key moments:
2018 – "The Beginning": It was in Gdańsk that the Orchestra consisting of Dawid Podsiadło, Kortez and Krzysztof Zalewski played one of their best concerts during the tour promoted by the song "The Beginning".
2020 – Pandemic and Concerts with Restrictions: During the pandemic, the tour was held in a limited form, but concerts in Gdańsk still attracted loyal fans.
2022 – Sanah and Daria Zawiałow: Their joint performances as part of the Męskie Granie Orchestra in Gdańsk were recognized by both critics and the audience.
In 2025, the concert tour Męskie Granie will take place for the sixteenth time, visiting seven cities in Poland: Żywiec, Poznań, Gdańsk, Szczecin, Wrocław, Kraków, and Warsaw. In Gdańsk, Męskie Granie will take place on July 18 and 19. This year's edition promises to be absolutely exceptional – we will see the biggest stars of the Polish music scene on one stage and discover new songs created specifically for this tour.
The program will include: electrifying performances of the Męskie Granie Orchestra 2025, with a lineup that will surprise even the most loyal fans! You will hear unique genre combinations, unexpected arrangements, and certainly pieces that will quickly become anthems of this summer.
Save the date, invite friends, and be a part of the history of Polish music! Gdańsk awaits you with open arms and the best live music!
